Now, with the action cleared and all ammuntion out of the area, we can get to work.

To get this process going, we need to remove the reciever cover. This is accomplished by rotating the pin at the back of the reciever up, then pulling outward. See figure one.

The pin won't come completely out. Once it's far enough out, you can pull the reciever backwards and set it aside.
