Getting info from the COG archive Try the COG archives. They're especially great for us impatient types. As in the little bratty girl in Willy Wonka, "I want it NOW!" The geeks out there may have another/better method, but here goes mine: For example, let's say I want some list info on air filters. 1. Send an email to LISTPROC@micapeak.com (not COG@micaspeak.com) with search COG -all "air filter" in the message body. 2. You will quickly receive an email that contains all the digest lines that contain "air filter". Go thru it, and and note which digests numbers might be useful. For example, let's say that 69 and 96 look good... 3. Send another email to LISTPROC@micapeak.com with get COG cog-digest-69 get COG cog-digest-96 in the message body. 4. You will quickly receive those digests and then can reread the wisdom (?) of COG listers thru the sands of time, on the subject of your choice. Like...wow, man! Check it out.
