will england :: motorcycle notes and tipsThe sites below are good to know about. My partner, Lynn, referred to them to figure what gear to get (she purcahsed Cordura stuff, but, they have leather options as well). All the sites are geared toweards women riders..... This link is a great one-stop-shop (we visited the store in CA last on a great bike trip)..... http://www.motagear.com/ another good option is.... http://www.womanbiker.com/ A general resource that's pretty good is... http://www.womenonwheels.org/ Reference site for more listings ..... http://www.moto-directory.com/women.htm And for those attitude t-shirts.... http://www.sonicbutterfly.com/ Have fun figuring out the right stuff! Cheers Clive PS. I have no involvement with any of the above sites other than potential customer. ==== also ==== Went to a neat little store last weekend that specializes in women's motorcycle accessories. No, I'm not planning any surgery, it was for my wife. My wife bought a Cordura jacket with armor for $195 and has some Cordura pants on order for $99. They are made specifically for women and fit her nicely. They both have zip out liners and are supposedly waterproof. No venting though. Anyway, the owner told us she could make jackets and pants in kids sizes. I know of no other source for this kind of stuff and thought you might want to know about it. I'm planning on getting kid's stuff next year. See http://www.womanbiker.com Cheers, David Roman Lucent Technologies
