Retroreflective Vests > My mother-in-law bought me a >hi viz yellow vest with large scotch brite reflective >panels. http://www.galls.com Public safety gear of all kinds. Here is another vendor of good quality safety vests for all occasions. I've had one of their m/c vests for 2 years now and it is holding up great. http://www.seebak.com It's good to be the seen!!!! Steven Smith COG #3184 NE AAD - CT === also === The "met-vest" from www.met-vest.com is what I have. I have to admit - its "overkill" (this is a good thing!). Everything is vizible in the day, and it shines in low-light situations. I have their vest, and their pullover jacket, made of a lightweight material, almost like a thick panyhose . The reflective striping is 3M cloth scotchlite. It rolls up quiet small. I had my son go to the end of the block one night and hit my highbeams... from about 300 yards he lit up like a phosphorus flare. I fell apart laughing when he started waving his arms (he had the sleeved one on), as if I could not see him. This is the product (or very close) to what most European police wear, esp. the UK. I keep one with my emergency kit in the car, and one in a ziplock on the bike. Comes in handy in inclement weather (rain, fog, etc). It is not our "roadman orange", which I personally feel can be confused with a stationary roadside worker, vs a moving MC. I'll contact David to see if he might consider a COG discount, and maybe become an industry member. MARK M. CIPRIANO
